The study “Perspectives on the reasons for alcohol abstinence toward developing an innovative prototype to promote alcohol refusal among adolescentsand youth” explores the factors and motivations that lead young people to refrain from alcohol consumption, including both non-drinkers and those with drinking experience. Using quantitative and qualitative approaches, the study examines the roles of personal values, social norms, perceived consequences of drinking, legal factors, and environmental influences. It also develops and evaluates prototype innovations aimed at strengthening alcohol refusal among Thai adolescents and youth, providing evidence to support long-term alcohol prevention strategies.
